Progress comes with Patience

As Chalene Johnson puts it "Progress comes with Patience".  Are you eating clean? Are you drinking your water? Are you exercising and burning calories? Then you are on the right track. As time goes by I always think things should be happening faster then they are. I went down to 213 now I am back up to 223. I am eating right, drinking my water, exercising and its just time. The mistake I see that we make is when people post their PROGRESS pictures almost NONE of them have the dates to which this took place. You dont know how many months or years it took them to get there and we automatically asume that it was FAST. Well weight loss is not fast and its hard. I am doing all the right things. I dont over eat, I dont eat out but maybe once or twice on the weekends.  I am toning I see, my thighs wont move but I know I see progress. We are so quick to judge our own PROGRESS my negitivity and have thoughts of giving up.  Yes being fat and unhealthy is much easier then trying to be where we should be. Being healthy is a choice and it take disapline and dedication. You cant do this by wishing or dreaming. Its hard ass work and yes I cry, I want to throw in the towel. It sucks but I also like WHO I am becoming and that out weights the pain and torture I think I am getting for the prize. To be healthy is amazing and it does come, how bad do YOU want it? I want it bad. I dont want to be fat and a wheel chair or grumpy grandma. I want to run and play with my family and grand kids. I see some older ladies out there and I am like WOW I want to be like that when I am 70.  So I am telling you NEVER GIVE UP NO MATTER HOW MUCH IT SUCKS.  I am up at the Gym 4am every morning during the week. For that is the only time I can workout. It feels amazing once I get it done and I have no regrets.  If you need help in your fitness journey or questions ASK ME. I would love to help you support you and be the lift you need to take back your life.

I believe in myself and I believe in YOU that any thing is POSSIBLE. Go BIG reach for your DREAMS. I did a 5K last weekend and it felt so good. I want MORE!!! I am doing three this year and have plans of doing 8 next year. Never giving up!!!! Its been ten months and I know there is still a big road ahead of me. I know there are hurdels and road blocks but I will do anything to get over or around them. Life is what you make it and my choice is to GO BIG AND NOT GO HOME!!!!

First 5K in my Life..... Amazing

I accomplished the first 5k run of my Life this Saturday. I had so much self doubt built up due to my fitness level. I was excited but scared. I had hoped to be in much better shape by the time of this event. I did the Rugged Maniac 5K here in Portland, OR. When I arrived at the event and saw this hugs wall you had to climb at the finish line I was so nervious. My head trash was like why are you here, you cant climb that and WOW this is gona kick your ass. The event was 3.1 miles with I believe 17 obsticals. There was mud holes, tires, bleachers, jumping over fire, balancing on 2x4 over mud hole, camel crawl in mud under barbed wire, slidding face first into mud, climbing, jumping and all kinds. It was so much fun I want MORE. I have signed up for three more runs this year.

What I want to say no matter your fitness level you have to gry things you have to get out there and show yourself that anything is possible. I showed myself so much this weekend and I am so proud of what I did. A big pat on the back and a high five. I still have 52 lbs to lose. I am like on a 4 month plateau but still not giving up pressing forward is what this girl is doing. I am so happy my kids talked me into daring what I thought not possible for "IM-POSSIBLE" and so are you.

This fitness journey has been long, ten months with many more to go. Its not a race its not a diet its a LIFESTYLE Change. I am eating healthier, making concious decisions to eat better and workout more often. I love how I feel and cant wait til the day I feel healthy.

Never doubt your journey, I dont care how big you are everyone has to start somewhere. Be proud of who you are and where you are going. Its worth every step and Change.

Positive self talk is key, make collages and put them around your home of your Goals. If you need help on your fitness journey I am here for you message me.
